What is Dynasty mode in Long Season?
Dynasty mode is the longer form way to play Long Season: you run a club as its general manager or follow a full career, with an inbox, owner relations, life events, and career transitions layered on top.
How to start it
Dynasty mode is listed as Experimental on the main menu and the Modes screen. The first decisions are who you are, a general manager or a player following a full career, which club you attach to, and how you answer the first items that arrive in your inbox.

What it adds over a straight season
- An inbox that delivers news you react to between games.
- Owner relations alongside the work of running the club.
- Life events and career transitions that carry across years instead of resetting each season.
- The full franchise toolset underneath: trades, the draft, free agency, injuries and player morale.
Why it is marked Experimental
The Experimental label means the mode is still being shaped, so expect it to change between versions of the game. Dynasty saves live in your browser like every other save, and the Saves screen can export them.
If you want the more settled management experience, franchise mode is the place to start, and a single player career is the quieter way to live inside a season.
Watching dynasty games
Games inside a dynasty are simulated pitch by pitch like every game in Long Season, on a 2D diamond or in a 3D broadcast style view. Whichever view you pick is remembered for the next game, and every finished game lands in the box score and season records.
